Another website that uses social networking for good is www.Firstgiving.com. Firstgiving create a free personalized online fundraising page for an non-profit registered with GuideStar, a national registry of nearly 2MM non-profits. You simply create a page, personalize it, and then send the link to all your friends via email or post a widget in your blog space.

What makes Firstgiving stand out is that they directly transfer the funds to the non-profit and so no one has to worry about where the funds go or register for a paypal account. Its a great service and they have an extremely dedicated support team that is very helpful with any question someone might have.

Thanks for the information Brittany. I'll see what I can do to highlight their efforts.

Keep up the great work!
